Understanding the Landscaping Process
At Landscape Solutions, we prioritize making sure each client has a thorough understanding of the landscaping process. By explaining each step—from design concepts to material selection and construction timelines—we help clients feel confident and informed throughout the journey.
Step 1: Initial consultation
At Landscape Solutions, we begin by listening to your vision and evaluating your space to determine the overall scope of work. Fit is important to us. Each project is carefully assessed, and we advise if we can take on your project. Factors such as scope, budget and location will help determine the best fit.
Step 2: Site Assessment, Design & Planning
During this phase, we gather information such as a site survey, conduct property research such as zoning and bylaws. We will develop a design concept, including materials selections, based on the initial consultation. We will provide a proposal that includes cost, design, and timelines.
Step 3: revisions and final scope of work
Once you have reviewed the proposal, we will address any revisions required and will provide a final scope of work and itemized cost breakdown.
Step 4: contract and deposit
The design and planning phase is complete and an estimate is provided. You will now be presented with a project contract to reserve your spot in our schedule. A 10% deposit is required upon signing and progress payments are required at pre-determined intervals during construction.
Step 5: site Preparation and installation
Landscape Solutions will keep you informed throughout the project. We will clear and prepare the area, including grading and excavation (if required), and removal of unwanted elements. Then, we will build and install the landscaping features according to the agreed upon scope of work.
Step 6: wrap up
We work hard to keep you informed so there are no surprises at this phase of the landscaping process. We will review the completed project with each client and provide and care or maintenance instructions. Time to celebrate your new outdoor space!
